Home » Vacancies » Teacher of Mathematics (Part-Time)
Deadline Date: 02nd October 2023
We seek to appoint a 0.8 part-time Teacher of Mathematics who can ideally teach across the 11-18 age range in the Senior School. Applications are invited from well-qualified and dynamic Mathematics teachers with the vision, energy and skills to contribute to the collaborative culture of the department.
The successful candidate would ideally join us during w/c Monday 16th October for induction and familiarisation. This fixed term position will then commence after the Autumn half term, on Monday 6th November, and will last for the remainder of the Autumn term, which finishes on Friday 15th December, though a longer teaching commitment might prove possible.
This is a part-time position and the final level of timetable commitment will depend on the context and preference of the successful candidate. The full available commitment amounts to 0.8 FT but there may be some flexibility with this. Candidates should ideally be able to teach across the full age range, up to and including A level, but would certainly need to teach up to KS4.
Applications should be e-mailed to the Headmaster, Dr Huw Williams, as soon as possible and no later than midday on Monday 2nd October. The school reserves the right to interview before the closing date if appropriate to the context of the field. Early applications are therefore very much encouraged.
Applications should be submitted to: head@yarmschool.org
