Home » Parents’ Section » Yarm School Association
The Yarm School Association comprises a volunteer group of parents who, in partnership with staff representatives, promote and organise social activities within the School and raise funds that benefit pupils and support local charities.
We aim to bring together the whole school community in a relaxed and social environment, fostering the needs of parents, staff and perhaps most importantly, the pupils via an inclusive approach as we believe a combined community brings so many wider benefits.
The YSA Committee welcomes support, assistance or any suggestions for events from any parent or staff member and can always be contacted via email to ysa@yarmschool.org, or through the School Reception on 01642 786023.
The YSA Committee meets in the Sixth Form Centre at 7.30pm once a month during term times to discuss the Association’s activities and to plan events. Parents are always welcome at these meetings; particularly the AGM in February. Mrs Claire Abbas chairs this committee and she is always happy to help if you would like to learn more about the YSA, join the committee, or simply put forward ideas for events. You can contact Claire and the team via ysa@yarmschool.org.
